Yes, I am very pleased with myself for persevering and finally managing to embed my PowerPoint into my blog. Although it is without the MP3 audio files (I couldn't find my microphone on my computer)at least the embedded YouTube videos work. Adding my own narrated audio files is another learning task I have set myself and will have to take place at a later date.
This technology would certainly allow students to create fantastic presentations while being able to hear their own voices, or to music that they have created themselves. It could be used easily as an assessable tool answering such questions as: Did you speak clearly, precisely? Did you present the material in a manner that was interesting for the other students? This is something that a challenged student could really enjoy - their voice is already synchronized to the slides so there is no fear factor involved.
